Come out to Bison Stadium to finish off your Homecoming Saturday by watching the Bethany Football team take on Thiel, a team they defeated 28-7 last season. The Bison will look to claim their second win of the season this weekend.

What Homecoming means to the Bison

One of the best things about being a Bethany Bison is the family environment and the brotherhood/sisterhood that comes with it after your first step on campus. Bison alumni from the past 50-60 years all the way up until the most recent 2022 graduates will be back this weekend to celebrate where they have come from. One of these alumni is 2022 graduate, Stefan Blackstone.

“Being a Bison means to me that I’ll always have a family to support me through my future. My department always stuck by my side through the thick and thin as well as Bethany Baseball. Being a Bison grew on me so much, and it was very tough to let go,” Blackstone said, as he plans on coming back for the weekend to see his teammates and coaches that have helped shape him into the man he is today.

The Football Game

The Homecoming football game is probably the most anticipated event of the entire homecoming weekend. It is one place where decades of Bison can come together and support their alma mater. The energy is truly too amazing to put into words. The only way to get this experience is to be present during Homecoming weekend.

The Bison Football team will look to defeat Thiel again this season, after claiming a convincing 28-7 victory over them last season. Under first year head coach, Brandon Robinson, the Bison got off to their best start in a few years by securing a week 1 win over Hiram. The Bison have already totaled 319 rushing yards this season, over 100 more than the 185 they totaled in all of last year. It’s an exciting year to be a Bison football fan. Come see what all the hype is about on Saturday, October 1st for the Homecoming football game!
